Plenty of Rain today in Cedar Rapids: 6 inches to 12 inches in parts of Linn County


The Cedar River is well in it's banks, but flash flooding and flooding are problems, especially near Indian and Prairie Creek in Cedar Rapids.

Drive safely, when you encounter water in the Streets and Intersections. Yes, these can strand motorists. If you can't see the bottom of the street, don't go through.
