Hannakkah, Winter Begins and we take a break for Christmas this Weekend

At 1 p.m. on Friday, December 23Rd, the offices of Tommy Tucker Realty Co. will close for several days in celebration of Christmas.

It's been a busy and fast 2011. We will wrap up the New Year, next weekend, but it is time for pause, as we celebrate another holiday season.

Our offices are closed, but the phone and web site is on. Please feel free to call and leave a message, if you require some attention over the Christmas holiday.

We will be closed at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 23Rd, due to Christmas. Our offices will re-open, with normal business hours at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011.

Happy New Year Everyone ...

It has been nice to have a couple days away from the office to celebrate the New Year's Holiday with friends and family. We hope you had a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and an opportunity to welcome in the New Year, as you choose.

We had our first service call of the New Year on Sunday. Thank you to our tenant and service vendor for resolving the matter in a timely fashion and with prudent work.

Be prepared.

Remember to be prepared for emergencies. If you have to call the utility companies, know what to do, whether it be electric, gas or water.

Merry Christmas and Season's Greetings to everyone this Holiday Week

The Rotary Club of Cedar Rapids will celebrate our Club Holiday Party today during our regular meeting.

This year's program will feature the Washington High School Madrigal Singers. We caught them at the Cocoa and Carols concert that Washington High put on earlier this month, so it should be an entertaining Rotary Club celebration this year. The Madrigal Singers also performed at this year's Fire & Ice Festival in Cedar Rapids earlier this month.

Cedar Rapids welcomes our first official Snow on Saturday, December 4Th

Allow more time to travel. Time to adjust to winter driving conditions in town and across the State of Iowa.

Winter may not officially be here, but typically December - January - February are the winter months in Iowa.

We celebrated the official first day of Winter on Monday, December 21st. Tuesday and Wednesday, we will be open for business, though we took a little time away to have a lunch with those with Tucker Manufacturing Co., Inc. at a flood impacted restaurant in downtown Cedar Rapids. We did get a couple of showings completed this afternoon in Cedar Rapids.

Our offices are scheduled to be closed for the Christmas holiday on:
